lilyPD: Professional Development powered by William & Mary offers flexible, skills-based online microcourses for K–12 educators. Developed through William & Mary’s Strategic Cultural Partnerships office, lilyPD brings together educators and cultural institutions to reimagine professional learning.

Built by teachers, for teachers, each course is co-created with William & Mary faculty, museum professionals, and subject-matter experts nationwide. Courses blend research, storytelling, and classroom practice, helping educators turn learning science into meaningful instruction.

For district and school leaders, lilyPD provides scalable, high-quality professional learning aligned to educator needs. Teachers earn professional development certificates endorsed by the William & Mary School of Education for license renewal.

For cultural partners, lilyPD extends the reach of collections and expertise into classrooms across the country.
