Building Evidence-Based Arguments by the Numbers

So often, teachers attempt to teach the cognitive skills of argumentation — developing a claim, gathering and evaluating evidence, contextualizing arguments, organizing evidence — within the writing process. But these skills are big and take time to practice before writing can take place.

And that’s what Building Evidence-Based Arguments is all about. In this course, you’ll learn how to hone in on the cognitive skills necessary to build arguments so that students are ready to write argumentative essays, hold debates, and make speeches down the road!

(Don’t worry: Foundations of Writing Evidence-Based Arguments will be released in November!)

If you’re not yet one of our more-than-100 registered participants, here’s what you can expect from the course by the numbers.

If you’ve taken Building Evidence-Based Arguments, we’re dying to know what you think! Leave a comment for us or review the course!
