RQI: Question Focus
In this activity designed by the Right Question Institute, educators design a Question Focus (QFocus) to launch student inquiry using the Question Formulation Technique (QFT). Teachers identify their instructional purpose, determine when and how students will use their questions, and develop a QFocus that is simple, not a question itself, and capable of generating multiple lines of thinking.
