Mock Elections

This teaching guide helps educators facilitate a mock election in which students take on roles such as candidates, policy experts, campaign managers, and communications directors to prepare for and participate in a structured debate. Students collaborate to research issues, develop evidence-based arguments, analyze voter perspectives, and present their ideas to an audience before voting takes place.
