History’s Habits of Mind Course Alignment
Developed with the National Council for History Education, this activity supports educators as they align historical thinking practices with their course goals by connecting the NCHE History Habits of Mind to their curriculum. Using a structured planning tool, teachers identify a compelling course question, outline key objectives, and determine which habits students will practice to meet those goals.
